-
Understand that earth architecture presents some economical and sustainable advantages when compared to current construction techniques due to its low energy consumption and low emissions; earth architecture is also able provide comfortable and quality spaces that comply with the thermal and acoustical needs of the users;
-
Associate the idea of being contemporary with sustainable materials; share and disseminate traditional building techniques combined with new technologies in response to economic and environmental problems;
-
Learn the theoretical and technical fundamentals of earth systems through the discussion and experimentation with the techniques of adobe, earth rammed walls, pressed earth blocks and framed construction focused on innovation;
-
Develop knowledge through the teachings and fundamental principles of vernacular architecture and explore new forms of integration.
